That's a very solid build. I don't have any real problems with it, it's excellent.

The i7 is for the dev part right? Otherwise you can go with an i5-4690k and get pretty much the same performance in games.

You might also want to wait a few days for Nvidia's 900-series to come out.

Thanks. I think I will wait to see what the 900's look like. And yes, the i7 is really just to support dev activities.

Its a good build bu you can save some money and get the same performance !
By taking the NZXT Phantom 410 Case you will save 75$ and have better airflow ..... And that PSU had a little bit fan noise than that PSU http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20750xr and you will save money too. And if you wanna to save more money you can get the same PSU but with 80+ Bronze at 100$ ! And I didnt see much difference that deserve double price.
At last I recommend waiting for NVidia new cards you willbe the winner at any way
Hope I helped you :)
My regards.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I actually don't like the design of the Phantom NZXT cases, but I had originally considered it. I might consider a different Mid Tower Case if it had better airflow than the one in my build.

The PSU is definitely not a place I like to skimp. I specifically chose that XFX for the Gold rating at 750w. I'd like to have enough overhead for SLI and multiple drives in the future. I think I currently ended up with 5 HDDs in my current machine after 4 years. Everything adds up.

I didnt say the xfx psu is bad at all but the fan is something loud so my suggest is just exchange with the EVGA psu it also have 750w 80+ Gold.

The case is better and you can get CM trooper its good too.

I would definitely consider the EVGA if it was much quieter. I still have nightmares of my GTX 470's fan noise during any kind of stress. =)

Thanks again for the suggestions guys.
