Can it compete against the Redmi 1S which costs 5999? No way! I was a X10 owner till I recently moved to Mi3. The quality of high end sony is really good and I know it. But when it comes to budget phones, I dont think its the same. My manager's Xperia C fell out of his pocket when he was sitting from 1.5 feet and the screen cracked :p

We Indians are smart. They are switching to companies which offer value for money. Lots of my friends have switched to Xolo / Lava / Gioneee / Xiaomi etc. Samsung & Sony stores are seeing less and less customers by the day.
