Hi All,

As of right now I am looking into upgrading my current PC build. Here is some back ground:

Right now I have:
AMD Phenom 965
16gb of Ram (DDR3, 1600)
MSI 970-G43
Radeon 7770 Ghz
SSD/HDD storage (256gb, 4 TB (2x2))
NZXT Phantom Full Tower
Corsair RM-750

Personal:
I am a freshmen at Georgia Tech, studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I was told that there will be a lot of software I will use over my years at Georgia tech and they are demanding programs. Also I do enjoy my games (Skyrim, CIV 5 and beyond earth, racing games, Assassins Creed) I am looking to build a PC with these features.

1. mATX build (in the bitfenix prodigy matx version). I know I have the full tower but it is too big to take in a dorm room...

2. Intel based system, with nVidia graphics for the cuda cores and rendering abilities with CAD programs, etc.

3. I would like it to be quiet, so I was thinking about the closed loop liquid coolers

Budget and Current plan:

1.I have purchased the bitfenix case already
2. I am carrying over the storage options from my first build
3.I am carrying over the PSU from my older build
4. I am carrying over the RAM from my older build

Essentially I need to buy a Mobo, CPU, and Graphics Card.
1. I have picked out the Gigabyte GA-Z97MX-Gaming 5 mATX, 1150 motherboard for $106 in a deal right now

2. My questions lie in the GFX card and CPU departments...

Graphics card: GTX 750ti, 760, or 770?

CPU: i5 locked, i5 unlocked, i7 locked, or i7 unlocked processor?

BUDGET
I am a college student so I don't want to spend if the performance improvement is not worth the larger cost. maybe $500-600 for the combined price of the CPU, Graphics, Motherboard
