Wanting to add a Bass Shaker to my system

I want to add a Bass Shaker under my drivers seat, and am not sure if i need to buy a larger amp, or if its possible to add that using this one. Someone told me i could use the Pre Out on the amp, and hook up a 2 channel amp, and then hook up the Bass Shaker to that, would this work?

You can use the the pre out on the amp to run another one for the bass shaker and that will work. I wouldn't run both the shaker and the sub off of the one amp you have though. Personally I'd just go for a bigger subwoofer.

unfortunately i drive a 370z and i have a custom sub encloser thats in the back corner and it can not be bigger then 10's. i can add a second on other corner but then id need a new amp anyways, i think im just gonna get the xd700 5 channel amp and sell the xd500, thanks tho
