Any chance of XP Compatibility?

Hello Community!

Bought a new PC, installed WinXP SP3 on it.

"My Computer > Manage" shows several yellow/unknown devices, among which are:
? Ethernet controller
? PCI-controller Simple Communications

Drivers CD that came with the computer is of no help, since 90% of its drivers require Win7 or above. Tried updating the missing drivers manually with said CD and software from other sources. Tried all sorts of drivers on the Internet, for both LAN and Chipset. All to no effect.

From what I've gathered, manufacturer does not support Windows XP, thus the lack of success in installing drivers. Could someone please confirm that or maybe suggest a workaround?

Also, would installing a different LAN card (an older one) make it possible to setup XP drivers for Ethernet controller?

Intel 8 series chipset motherboards have no support for XP or Vista. The same is true for Intel 9 series chipset motherboards.
