Yo, I bought two Asus vn248 ips monitors about a month apart from each other. They both are heavy on blues, but the one i most recently purchased is even more blue than the other. Compared to the other monitor the reds also do not appear as saturated.
I did a factory reset on both monitors so they are identical.
I have heard ips monitors need a break in period. Is this true? Or is the monitor just defective?
There do not appear to be any firmware updates.
I have checked driver level color calibration and the all match as well.
The light in the room is also balanced and I am looking at the monitors at the same angle.

Even new, matched monitors may be ever so slightly different.

I have a pair of HP 22" ISP. Bought as a set, came in the same box (with stand). With exactly the same settings, they are ever so slightly different.

Get a hardware calibration tool, and use it. Adjust as needed.
