gtx 770 oc vs 970 oc

just a quick question running evga gtx 770 oc 2 gig
bought last july 380 quid

as the gtx 970 is only 260 quid in the uk is worth getting one
is the gain worth the buy? running 1080 win7 ddr 1600 8 gig

i was looking at these specs for 970 vs 770

and it is alot better , question is as the 770 out performs 970 on this stat only

More texture mapping units 128 vs 104 24 more texture mapping units

baring that in mind still better buy?

Dont use GPU boss or any boss site for that matter, they get information wrong, report false results, use synthetic benchmarks, and are biased.
Regardless of that, the 970 is superior in every way.
