I want to buy one of these GPUs, but I can't find a review of them on the same website so I can't decide. Noise level and temperature matters most to me.

More about : gtx 970 asus strix gigabyte gaming

Noise level - The ASUS.
The fans remain off until around 65-67c and when on begin very slowly.

Temps - The Gigabyte.
The cooler is essentially a beefier version of their Windforce ones, I've never liked them personally, but as far as temps go that's your champ.

Neither will really get anywhere near the red though. Planning on picking up the STRIX myself when prices stabilise. But then, I am an ASUS fanboy.

I gotta agree with the STRIX, it looks really nice, also the MSI TF is sexy. But i'm just going for EVGA for personal reasons, if i could find one, even amazon is out of stock and idk when it's coming back :(

Go the STRIX, Cheaper (just a tad), quieter, almost as cool as the Windforce, and the most important reason: It looks better :D

Strix is better and good looking

The gigabyte is so much cooler than the strix you can drop the fan speed and have a quieter and cooler graphics card

If you do not care the looks, then yes
Gigabyte Gtx 970 G1 has a little bit better performance, because it has higher clocks.

However, I love the Msi and Asus looks because welp...
They look much better (In My Opinion.)

I like Asus because it looks nice with back plate.

I will rather have better looks with back plate than a little bit better performance or coolings.

It's up to yourselves

Also, I forgot to tell you that Asus one has lower power usage, and only need an 8 pin connector.

It does not have a lower power usage . It has less power connectors so you have less overclocking head room

Not necessarily.

The single 8-pin provides 150w to the card. As far as I remember, the PCIe slot can provide about 75w.
The reference for both the 970 and 980 is two 6-pins, equating to the same 150w.

Now, while a few non-reference designs use the standard 8-pin + 6-pin setup, theoretically allowing more power to the card for higher overclocks. I would almost certainly imagine that you would run into temperature or general instability issues long before you run out of juice.

So in short. I really don't think you're going to get any massive gains, if any, from the traditional power setup over a single 8-pin.
I think pretty much all aftermarket 970s currently available will get you to near-enough the same levels when overclocking, the only variables being fan speed.
With that said, I would advise against that EVGA version.

So, you Msi is the best?

Because it has good cooling and performance with good look!

Also, it has standard 8+6 setup.

MSI is probably the best. But some users report that it's loud and a feels a bit cheap.

Now i'm usually biased against Gigabyte, but their Windforce 970 is definitely the chilliest. If you can fit it, and don't mind the looks (that thing is ugly :p ) then get that.

So Mac,
You recommend Gigabyte more than Asus?

For overall performance, yes. It runs cooler.

For features/looks/noise, no. I just love my Strix's :D

Really, MSI, Asus and Gigabyte are all good. Just get whatever you like, or is cheapest.
October 5, 2014 4:55:56 PM

However, the gigabyte is 20 dollars more expensive than Asus on pcpartpicker

where did you find it?
October 6, 2014 9:07:25 AM

Look at the http://gigabyte.com
If your question is actually are those the same GPU - then yes, the core is the same.
But they are different cards, the G1 comes with a higher clock from the manufacturer.
Gigabyte clearly states, that the G1 cards have a cherry-picked cores and tells you that they will definitely overclock higher than any other Gigabyte 970

Are you copying my name?
or your name is really that...

Maybe he's your 007 equivalent.

"Name's Huang, Ray... Huang".

Lol ^

So, G1 has higher clock (which means better performance)?
