my keyboard and mouse keep freezing every so often. I ran memtest86 with no errors, checked my 3 hdd's for errors, and no errors. I have done everything that gigabyte support said to do, with no solution.I have a Gigabyte GA-990fxa-ud3 main board with a FX 8120, 16 gigs corsair ram, 3 hdd's, radeon hd 7770 video card. how can I fix this? I am at my wits end. any input would be appreciated.

Try downloading then installing all the latest MB drivers, starting with the chipset. You can get them at the Gigabyte web site.

EDIT:
Go here: http://www.gigabyte.us/

Then type the MB model in the search at the top-right. Choose your revision number. The click on the "CPU / Memory Support & Downloads" tab. Select driver then input your OS and the latest drivers will be there to download. You don't need the LAN utility or the SATA RAID/AHCI drivers unless you have a RAID configuration.

they are plugged into the USB2.0 port.

Then the new chipset driver should have helped. I would load the USB3.0 drivers too.

EDIT:
I would also make sure the latest GPU drivers are installed too.

Another EDIT:
If you have any of the Gigabyte utilities installed, try removing them.
