I'm getting to the point to where I have enough money to order all my parts but I wanted some possibly more knowledgeable people to take a look at the parts to see if there's room for improvement. As long as the total amount of things suggested and my original part list is ~$3,000 I'll be happy.

Because MSI has horrible QC and customer service. What do you have to lose by going with Asus?
Unless you`re an MSI fanboy, getting an MSI board doesn`t make sense (at least to me).
