I have a some files in .jpeg.cha format need help!

hi, this is my first time here. i have found a few files in my computer recently and i need some help to view the files. so is that anyone here have a solution or a advice for me? all these files have come with "xxxxx.jpeg.cha". all help and opinion will be appreciate..... thanks

If you rename to just xxxxx.jpeg do they open? Try using Irfanview and see what it says.

thank you for replying, as for info i have try to change it to various of format but seems like non of it working. i have try using .jpg .tiff .png .jpeg even the video format. also tried using the .cha format which according to uncle google its a Photoshop format. But Uncle Google also mention its maybe MiRC software format which is a chatting software.

i have try using the Irfanview as you mention but it show "cannot read file header, unknown file type"

You said you found them in your computer? So you didn't take the photos or download them? What program/folder are they in?

actually i found it it in an old backup folder name Download from email. So probably i download it from Email but as i check back my email its not longer exist so i don't know who sent it and for what purpose. that's why i wanna open it to make sure whats inside before i can choose to delete it or keep it.

This almost reminds me of those old ".art" files from the AOL days. Opening those were a pain if you didn't have AOL. Did you use an email reader like outlook to make the back up/download from email? Any chance that's what you need to open it? Not sure of any other help I can be. Hopefully someone else has a better idea.

well i wish i had a backup of my email but i don't have that's why i looking for some help here. hoping that someone here can help me to solved the problem. :( :(
