I am helping a client shop for a new PC, and I'm wondering how good systems with Intel "Pentium G" or "Core i" series processors with Intel Integrated HD are for video? I'm a 3D enthusiast, so I'm prejudiced in favor of high-end graphics cards; but my client is on a tight budget and only needs something that can play videos smoothly. I gather onboard graphics are better than they used to be. But is it sufficient for watching streaming & HD video without it being blocky or choppy?

Thanks,

Dave

Intel and AMD integrated graphics will generally support 1920x1080 or higher resolutions so it should be no problem.
