I'd be interested on the price tag. I need one of these for whitewater kayaking.

I wouldn't buy a go pro. They fail way to much. Haven't meet anyone whom has had a positive experience.

Maybe it depends on what you use it with, but I've never met anyone with a bad experience.

Word is $499 for black (4k/30) and $399 for Silver (4k/15). It's an amazing price for 4k video (assuming the output is not over-compressed to the point of unusability). It'll be a camera that many pro's will keep in their kit for risky shots, tight spaces, or low cost aerials (octocoptors that can fly my Epic go for $10k+, you can fly a gopro for 1/10th that or less.).

That is neat and all, but 30 Hz isn't good for action cameras especially if there is going to be quick motion.

I have not had a bad experience either they are not perfect but great cameras once you know how to use them properly.

Sod the touch screen and sod 4K. Give me more battery life and more FPS at 1080/1440p and I'd happily upgrade.

$500 for the black when it doesn't even add that much from the previous model AND drop the remote which now is an $80 optional is pretty retarded
