Long story short my old pre built computer is broken (again) and I have decided to create my own machine instead of getting it repaired only problem is I have never built a computer before and am not component savvy and am not sure if the parts I have listed are fine together or not.

I am looking to stay Around the £650 mark or lower if at all possible.

Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Intel Z97 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB...)

Storage: Seagate SSHD 7200RPM 3.5" 1TB (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD...)

I would get the i7-4790k over the stock i7 4770, if you're going to be using this build for gaming only please say so, as an i7 wont be needed and we can upgrade the gpu. Also if the 4790k is too much, drop the z97 board then upgrade the gpu :) .
As for the psu I would suggest this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA... in place of that cx500

Yes this rig will be primarily for gaming with some generic youtube watching mixed in I guess, as for the motherboard is there anything you would suggest over it :p ?

This would do better for gaming, then you can ditch the 750. The 280x780 blows the 750 away.
I also picked the 8 core over the 6 core so that way if you ever decide to do anything core demanding then you have it for only 20$ more than the fx 6300. If it's gaming only, and you're on a tighter budget AMD makes more sense.

Also I included an h100i in case you overclock the 8320.

If these cost a lot more in your location, lemme know, This is about 650 pounds in usd.

Thanks for all your help I had a look at it all and this is the cost in GBP.

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor (£99.54 - Aria PC) Fine but I dont mind bumping the cost up if it improves performance.
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (£79.99 - Amazon) Fine
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard (£82.00 - Amazon) Fine
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£68.17 - Amazon) Fine
Storage: Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£45.58 - Scan) & Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£35.94 - Aria PC) These are fine but are SSHD's no good as like a halfway mark?
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 780 3GB DirectCU II Video Card (£325.31 - More Computers) I would most likely stick to the 750 as I got it for old computer and is not very old, this would most likely be somthing I buy as an upgrade down the line :p
Case: Corsair 400R ATX Mid Tower Case (£82.91 - Amazon) Fine
Power Supply: Antec HCG M 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (£98.68 - More Computers)
Total: £918.12 - £592.81 (W/o Upgraded card)

Thanks again :p .

The price on that Antec psu, made me, well, cry a bit inside.
I would reccomend this psu http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Power+Supplie...
Good quality, from a good quality OEM(Seasonic), modular, and is 30 pounds cheaper, and it will be able to power a gtx 780. I would reccomend getting a 780 soon, the price is going to continue to drop as the new GTX 980's came out. The 780 will absolutely blow you away with the performance you will get vs. the GTX 750. Just something to think about.

Also as for SSHD, I used to run a 32 gb cache ssd for my HDD, felt faster than the stock HDD but once I put the os on the SSD and programs on the HDD everything felt even faster, just my personal thoughts.

If you don't plan to upgrade to the GTX 780, or a 770 or anything like that within the next few months. I'll switch the build around, I'll use aria to pick parts.

Yeah this project will most likely to happen the next few months or after chrismas as this is a think I will be putting money in increments towards it xD, So I have plenty of time to think about what to put in it.

In that case, we'll drop the FX, back to intel.

RAM: http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/RAM/DDR3/Dual...

SSD: http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Storage/SSDs/100GB+-+180...
HDD: http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Storage/Hard+Drives/3.5+...
Video Card: Pretty much whatever GTX 780/770 you can afford and is the cheapest.
PSU: http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Power+Supplie...
Case: Whatever you would like, make sure it's a Midtower or larger.

Total for the parts I linked is: roughly 500 pounds.

Add a case and you'll be at about probably 550 or so.
Then down the road add a new GPU. :)
Also if you need windows, add the price of that.
