Hi guys.

I'm buying a new computer, and I'm thinking of going the iBuyPower route. I have all my components that I want in the build, and its only $1599. Here is a link to the pdf of all the components: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/33872519/iBuyPower%...

The one thing I don't like about this build is the graphics card. I know I want a GTX970, but I kinda had my heart set on a ASUS STRIX GTX970. From what I can tell, it has much better cooling, is much quieter (it doesn't even turn on the fans while idle), and has two fans. Is the EVGA Superclocked even worth it (it only has one fan...). Am I just being picky and shouldn't worry about it? I live in Oklahoma, and it gets hot here....

I am considering picking the cheapest card iBuyPower has, and then buying a ASUS GTX970 separately from NewEgg and installing it myself. Does this sound like a good idea? And should the ASUS STRIX cards come back in stock soon?

Yeah, I'd get a cheap card and buy an MSI or ASUS 970. MSI have made the best 970 (imo) closely followed by the ASUS.

The ASUS STRIX is an excellent card so get the cheapest for Ibuypower and just replace it but make sure your PSU will support it.
