Can a graphics card be installed on this mobo for better videoplayback?

no integrated HD gfx with cpu (e2180) ... just Intel 82945G Express Chipset Family (Intel) 2gigs of ram ddr2 , lga 775

It lists that there's a PCI-Express slot so you should be able to purchase a cheap dedicated video card for smoother video playback.

Something like an old and cheap Geforce 210/610 or Radeon 5450 should do nicely for HD (1080p) video playback.
