I am trying to decide which Video card to upgrade to from my dying Gigabyte 6970. I don't know how much longer this will GPU will last either. I mean I think it could go out any day. Also, I am no longer interested in owning an AMD GPU every build I have had AMD and I want to go Nvidia this time.

Current System Specs:
EVGA 850W Supernova PSU
Intel Core i5 4670k
8 GB Kingston Predator Ram
ASUS Maximus Formula ROG Motheboard.

I am looking at these:

ASUS GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5 Comes out to $317 w/ Shipping + Borderlands Pre-Sequel for free.

Or

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming Comes out to $ 395 w/ shipping and tax

Or

MSI GTX 970 4GD5T OC Comes out to $ 375 w/ shipping and tax

Or

ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC20C-4GD5 Comes out to $ 385 w/ shipping and tax

EDI: Also, I have heard that ASUS GPU's allow for easy voltage regulation when paired with an ROG board. Is this true?

I want a 970, but as I sit here and watch the red lines on my screen I worry that it will take a month or more for them to come back in stock. Anyone know how long it usually takes for them to come back in stock?

I can order one on Amazon, and it will be shipped as soon as it becomes available. Only downside is that they charge tax. When did the 900 series release? It seems like they sold out in a 1-2 days.

So I went to turn my PC on last night and boom GPU died. So now I am using the Integrated GPU on my 4670k. You guys think I should get an EVGA SSC card? They are in stock right now as we speak, I am not worried about the cooler issues. I am just going to slap a Kraken and AIO on there anyway. What do you guys think? Should I just wait for the MSI, Gigabyte, or Asus to come back in stock?

Welp Proud new owner of an MSI Gaming 4G GTX 970! I found it at a local store, but unfortunately tax was involved. So it cost me about $380. They only had 2 in stock so I was like screw it.

This card is an absolute monster! MSI did a good job with it, I am not too big on the card shutting off it's fans though. I tried to get around this through afterburner, but I saw it going from 40% to 1% over and over again. So I am leaving it for now, waiting on my Kraken G1 to come. I need to decide between the H50, H55, and H60. Would the H75/H80i be good too?

I am on my phone,I will just speel them out.
