Forgot current password, unable to change it with a new one

Hi..

I have forgot my current password and hence I am not able to change the current password, however, I am posting this message via a link which i received in mail box upon requesting for it.

Please suggest me how could I reset my password while I have forgot my current password.

We don't know the software whose password you've forgotten (User/ phone/ email acc/ FB acc), but the best is to contact/ email the concerned company and talk about resetting the password, though most will allow you to reset it after you've completed a security check.
We can't confirm you're the verified owner of whatsoever you're concerned of, and we can't help you further.

Pretty sure he's trying to access his account for THIS forum and not trying to break into a password-secured computer or something.

Best bet is to PM a moderator and ask him for help.
