"The first details have allegedly leaked on the GM200 GPU that may be powering the GeForce GTX 980 Ti or the GTX Titan X, from the very same source responsible for the original GeForce GTX 980 spec leak. Nvidia impressed the high-end PC gaming world immensely with the introduction of the GTX 900 series, offering top-end power for a great price. Now though Nvidia looks to be pushing things to the next level with the GM200, set to be its fastest chip yet."

This is not a Question, this is a discussion thread... as you can see there is no option for "select as solution".

I doubt it's 50% faster. The Titan Black was ahead of a 780 and a bit less than the 780ti, so lets just use the 780ti for comparison. There's no way the 980ti will be 50% faster than a 780ti

I know. As you can see I put a : D up there. :)

I hope that the 980 Ti won't cost $1000.

The GTX 980 is already faster than the 780ti.

Ofc it's faster,but it's not 50% faster,more like ~15%.

Yeah but it's like 5% better at stock. There's no way the ti will just be that much powerful. Nvidia would be shafting every 780/780ti owner if they did that

True.
And even if it was 50% faster (somehow),it would cost way too much.

well yea, no doubt it will cost a lot, its going against the Titans...so im guessing its going to cost at least $800, the 780Ti also cost a lot when it came out.

Even more than $800 IMO.

I wish they would release a GTX 990 instead of this, it would probably reck the r9 295X2 in 4k.

It wouldn't. AMD had the advantage in high res gaming, plus 2 780s won't beat 2 290xs

There won't be a 980ti since the 980 is already unlocked to it's fullest. MAybe 985 or a 990. But there can't be a ti without it being a marketing gimmick.
