This is what I have so far after a bit of research. I really wanted to know what you guys think of this build, and if this PowerColour GPU is a good fit.

Is this GPU good? (Is PowerColor a decent company to get my gpu from?)
Any suggestion?
Should I spend the extra 70$ for SSD and is it worth it? (I'm a little strapped for cash.)
Links to build advice?
Anything I'm missing that would keep this PC from running besides OS and peripherals?
Is there a good free OS?

Thank you for your time and answers!
