Computer crashes - but not in Safe mode - even if heavily loaded!?

I hope that someone with intimate knowledge of the workings of the PC and Windows 7 would be willing to comment on this:

I use a Lenovo (ThinkCentre M55 8810-BV6) desktop with Win 7 in 'safe with networking' mode, with enabled sound and full resolution; regardless of how heavily the CPU, etc. is charged, it runs fine - I can watch several video streams simultaneously, communicate on social networks, download torrents, etc. - never a single(!) crash.

However, if I try to run the machine in 'normal' mode, it crashes almost immediately, even if left idling, and with most services disabled or set to 'manual'!? And - there's no blue screen, minidump or record in events logs!?

Any ideas about what might be the explanation for this behaviour!?

When safe mode runs okay but not normal mode, it's typically caused by some bad/incompatible third-party driver you've recently installed, or third-party software which installs drivers (such as antivirus, third-party firewall or even CD/DVD software).

Whatever driver it is, safe mode isn't loading it and is therefore able to run okay.

If you can remember what you installed just before the problem started, that's what you need to uninstall (in safe mode of course).

I know why this happens, I wonder what particular- driver, conflict, etc. - causes it!?

No, unfortunately, it isn't bluescreening ... Never a dmp file; in fact, half of the time the computer remains powered on.

Probably not a good idea disabling services in normal windows. Whats in startup?

I have disabled only non-essential services - according to Black Viper's list; as I said, I am compelled to use this computer only in safe mode, where most of the services do not load, anyway?
