Was hoping someone could help me out on purchasing a new graphics card as I have little to no knowledge when it comes to choosing an appropriate card.

Currently I'm looking at: ASUS GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5 for $340, including shipping etc I'll prob en up paying 400-440.

I was hoping someone could shed some light as to whether this would be a good buy and as to you might have recommendations for better options round about the same price?

My specs currently are:
Windows 7
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz, 3601 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB
AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series

Thanks :)

Since your getting a new card I would probably go with the newer GTX 970. Same price and it outperform the 780.

I would get a GTX 970,it's the same price as the GTX 780,but it's stronger.

Lol they always do. It's really the only card I recommend with frequency now. The price for performance is just awesome.
