Hi, everyone.

I upgraded from an old 9600gt to a gtx 470 a while ago. It worked perfectly for quite some time.
All of a sudden, while gaming, my pc makes a loud noise (fans, I presume) and the monitor goes blank.

Since then, my gtx 470 has been useless. My monitor doesn't display when it's connected.
However, the fan on the gpu still spins and the pc boots up just fine, just no display. My old 9600gt still works properly and onboard graphics work fine too.

My specs:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.50GHz
GPU: Geforce GTX 470 1280mb GDDR5
Memory: 4 GB ram
PSU: Cooler Master Thunder 600w
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (build 7600), 64-bit

Is my card totally useless now?
Thanks for any help. *

Solution
Best course of action is to test the card in a diferent computer with adaquete power supply.

If card does not work it is the card.
If it does work then the PSU is the most likely fault
