Hi All,

I know there is someone much more knowledgeable than me out there that might even be willing to pass some knowledge onto me.

I am looking to build a pc capable of running CAD applications namely Creo 2 (elements pro) and solidworks. It will also need to run PS and matlab and all the standard day to day stuff.

So I was planning on getting my hands on a nvidia quadro possibly going to try and pick up a second hand one a bit cheaper as it will only be a cad pc for a year and then i plan on getting a gaming card.

I have made a mock up of the system i plan on building (video card not included)

So basically: From my reasearch it seems that the better value for stats geforce cards are limited and stopped from working particularly well in CAD aplications so I think a Quadro is necissary (please correct me if I'm wrong). So which is the lowest Quadro card that will offer reasonable half decent performance in my application? (I just saw a quadro 2000 go on ebay for £50 but I have not idea if it would be crap or not)

Thanks in advance for the help.
