I have one hard drive, 2 partitions, how do i put them together?

Hi, i just built my first gaming pc and i have a 240GB SSD Card for my OS which is windows 7, i also have a 3TB HDD, but when i go to format it there are two partitions. it wont let me expand the volume i created already on the HDD to use the full 3TB. Need help, Thanks.

Personally i use Easeus Partition Manager as i find it easier to use and have never had a failure
