I'm thinking of posting a "WTB" notice on my local craigslist, but I'm not sure how much to offer.

I'm looking for a used (probably) monitor with an HDMI input that I can use for my computer and/or Playstation 3. The rest of the specifications aren't too important to me (I'm far from a professional gamer) as long as it works.

My "local" is a fairly small area and listings like this tend to be uncommon. I'm hoping to entice someone into making me an offer.

Look for similar monitors on other Craigslist sites and offer an equivalent amount. There are tools that let you search across multiple craigslist sites.

It would depend on the quality of the monitor. An entry level Acer TN panel would go for a lot less than a Dell IPS, maybe half as much, and then there's everything in between.

On my CL I've seen them go for around $75-$100 (21.5" to 24") for a basic 1080p monitor.

Again, I don't really care about anything other than it having HDMI inputs.

Then you may pay too much. You have to offer different amounts based on the specs.
