I just built a computer and would like to setup eyefinity. However, I do not have a discrete gpu and all of my monitors are vga. I have one one monitor hooked up vga. could I use a usb to vga adapter for the second monitor? Would this (http://www.amazon.com/Manhattan-Serial-Converter-Connects-205146/dp/B0007OWNYA/ref=sr_1_23?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1412474436&sr=1-23&keywords=usb+to+vga) or this (http://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-RS-232-Serial-Converter-TU-S9/dp/B0007T27H8/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1412474436&sr=1-1&keywords=usb+to+vga) work for doing that? And for the third monitor could I convert hdmi to vga with this (http://www.amazon.com/Black-Input-Adapter-Converter-Laptop/dp/B007KFVQXI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1412479198&sr=1-1&keywords=sanoxy+hdmi+to+vga)?

Hi you might need to post more, but unless I am mistaken, ig you dont have an AMD GPU you cannot do Eyefinity.

If you are trying to run multiple monitors off your Motherboard its a different question.

What is your system specification (what parts do you have) and what do you want to acheive - assuming three monitors?

motherboard: Asus a78m-a (vga, dvi-d, and hdmi)
CPU: AMD a8-6600k
memory: hyperx fury 4gb 1866
HDD: Seagate barracuda 1tb hard drive 7200rpm
Case: NZXT Phantom 410
Optical Drive: Asus 24x DVD-RW Serial-ATA Internal OEM Optical Drive
PSU: Corsair CX500
OS: Windows 8.1
Thermal Paste: Arctic Silver 3.5 grams

Also, would it work if I used a dvi-d to hdmi (http://www.amazon.com/DVI-D-Male-HDMI-Female-Adapter/dp/B004CHATO4/ref=sr_1_7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1412519704&sr=1-7&keywords=dvi-d+to+hdmi), then an hdmi to vga (http://www.amazon.com/Black-Input-Adapter-Converter-Laptop/dp/B007KFVQXI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1412479198&sr=1-1&keywords=sanoxy+hdmi+to+vga)?

I just lifted this off the AMD website:

AMD® Dual Graphics Technology

AMD Radeon™ Dual Graphics is an exclusive technology only available to AMD platforms. It allows AMD APUs and selected AMD Radeon™ HD 6000 series graphics cards to work together, delivering an unrivalled 3D gaming graphics quality and performance. By combining both the discrete and integrated graphics processors, gamers can now enjoy faster and smoother frame rates on any latest gaming titles

What I think it means is that your Motherboard connected monitor can be included with the Graphics Card Eyefinity but you still need a HD6000 version Graphics card to use Eyefinity.

Hard to explain, I have a 3 screen eyefinitiy running through a HD6970 and a 4th monitor connected to my mobo. Because my MOBO does not support eyefinity like yours, the 4th monitor does not show up when I run eyefinity so I cant include it and run eyefinity with 4 screens. If I had you MOBO I could use all 4 - 3 on my Graphics card and 1 on my MOBO.

I think the only answer is to get a HD6 series Graphics card - sorry its not want you want to hear.

Well, I would like to say that I have actually kinda done this before and that's why I think this would all work. I had one monitor plugged in vga, another larger monitor plugged in dvi-d, and a 32" tv plugged in hdmi. So I think it would work fine. Also, I would be using 3 small monitors.

I am also wondering if for the dvi-d to vga conversion I could use a dvi-d to hdmi (http://www.amazon.com/DVI-D-Male-HDMI-Female-Adapter/dp/B004CHATO4/ref=sr_1_7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1412519704&sr=1-7&keywords=dvi-d+to+hdmi), then use an hdmi to vga (http://www.amazon.com/Black-Input-Adapter-Converter-Laptop/dp/B007KFVQXI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1412479198&sr=1-1&keywords=sanoxy+hdmi+to+vga).
