Hey guys, I have an old MP4 player from Aldi ages ago. It is apparently a 'Laser VMate' thing.

Mine is in fairly good shape, but I could count the pixels on its screen.

What do you guys and girls think i should do with it, and suggestions on how to go about it.

I am completely open to modding it, in fact that would be preferable. Here is what I have so far, but do not have a method (I don't even have no drivers for it):
Linux
Emulator (kinda ties in with Linux as well)
Break it

Thanks!

Donate it to the local mid-grade (Jr. High) computer science club for practice in disassembling electronics that won't ever be put back together, or might.

Paperweight

Break it (Sounds like more fun.)

Just kidding, had to throw those in. I can't honestly think of a good use for it. I'm interested in seeing actual suggestions.

Well I just cracked it open. Looks like 2 2GB Samsung k9gag08u0m flash memory chips. An AK2305 - It has glue on the microprocessor, So I am unable to confirm it. Would not mind using it for something, just need the right tools, and maybe some help.
