Is my new processor compatible? URGENT

I decided to upgraded my outdated processor a Pentium 4 519K. I purchased a Core 2 Quad Q9300 from Ebay and its a LGA 775 like the Pentium 519K. My motherboard is a Foxconn 945GZ7MC-KS2H. I was wondering if it would be compatible with the motherboard. I also purchased a Asus HD 7750 graphics card with a 600w Corsair PSU. Can you tell me if all this is compatible?

Unfortunately the Q9300 is not compatible.

For future reference before you huy another cpu, you can find out by googling you mobo. It should list the compatible cpus

oh that sucks. i only remembered to check my mobo compatibility after buying the Q9300. and will the ASUS HD 7750 be compatible?

You can try it, but the Q9300 won't work because the chipset doesn't support it.

well looks like i'll have to return it and maybe go for a Intel Core 2 Duo E4700
