Hi,

I've seen a lot of people having problem with changing HD (some want to put SSD) and just willing to clone their "RECOVERY" partition and reinstall... so here is the way to make it happen guys.

The idea is:
1- You clone the recovery partition from HD-Old to HD-New,
2- You use the F9 (in my case for Asus) key to launch the recovery,
3- You reinstall your OS on the new HD,
4- You're happy! ;-)

How to do it:
1- Download "EaseUS Partition Master" from wherever (I think the free version works perfectly),
2- Plug your HD-New via USB or however you can/want,
3- Make sure HD-New is blank and NOT formatted (=no partition existing).
4- Use EaseUS to COPY the recovery partition from HD-Old (the one you're using) to your HD-New. Note that you can even resize the target new recovery partition in HD-New if the partition is bigger that what it contains (free space... EaseUS will give you that possibility). Apply!
5- After it's done, change the label of your new created partition to the same name the one in HD-Old has (usually RECOVERY) because EaseUS just calls it "Copy Of"... which is not very sexy...,
6- Change your new created partition to HIDDEN type, like the one in HD-Old (EaseUS displays that),
7- After applying all changes, shutdown.
8- Take HD-Old away and replace it with HD-New into your computer.
9- Boot your PC and hit F9 (ASUS) or whatever it is for your PC to launch the recovery.
10- Install your system on HD-New.

Enjoy! ;-)
