Huh what are you talking about. The I3 is a dual core CPU with 4 threads. An I7 is a quad core CPU with 8 threads. I3's have two real cores and I7's have four real cores.

Lol, I just tell my friends that Hyper-Threaded CPUs are just processors with split personalities. rds1220 is right.
