Hi there,

These are my specs for my computer:
Foxconn P45A01
Intel Core Quad Q9400
8GB DDR2 Ram.
Geforce 9600 GT

Looking at the motherboard specs: http://www.foxconnchannel.com/ProductDetail.aspx?T=moth...

It says i can run ATI crossfire support. So does that mean I can only use AMD cards?

And if so would it be worth it to add 2 graphic cards into my computer?
What graphic cards would be good in ATI crossfire?

Thanks

Not at all.
That means you cant run SLI natively. It might be do-able using 3rd party software though if thats your interest.

You can run any SINGLE card you want.

Crossfire is running two AMD cards as 1 card.
SLI is running two Nvidia cards as one card.

both Technologies are two cards sharing the workload just with different names and using different processes to do it.

So if my Motherboard can only use ATI, does that mean i need to Amd graphic cards?

Only if you plan to use crossfire. My main rig only officially supports Crossfire (AMD) but I run single Nvidia GPU's in it. Yes I have two nvidia cards in it but thay are not in SLI.; they are for multiple monitors.
