Hello i have Intel R Core TM 2 Duo Cpu e6550 with 2.33GHz

I am planning to buy a video card right now to improve my gaming performance, although i love playing games i dont play games such as BF3 CSGO or any other high quality games, i love playing Crossfire, Ran online and LoL , i can play these games with low quality but sometimes i get laggy, so im planning to buy a cheap video card for now 90$ under, so any suggestions ?
you might say what if i go work and buy a new one , i cant cause i have a full sched at school so, buying a new videocard for this kind of pc, is it worth it ? if it does can u guys help me find a good and perfect one for me thank youuu

a gtx 750 (Ti) should be good, its the strongest you could get without a cpu bottleneck, and it doesnt need external power connectors :D
