Hello guys!
I am building my first WEB server for my web projects and I would like to have an advice from you if all the components I have selected are OK.

- Intel Core i7-4770 (3.4GHz, 8MB Cache, LGA1150)
- Asus Z87-K
- Samsung 840 Pro Series, 256GB, SATAIII, 7mm ( x 2 for the RAID array)
- Kingston 4GB PC12800 DDR3 1600MHZ ECC CL11 ( x 4 = 16 GB)
- SATA 3 SSD RAID Controller Card
Acme PCI-express interface card, HyperDuo SATA 6G Card, 4 x SATA 6G, Marvell chipset, Support RAID 0, 1, JBOD

Any help/opinions are greatly appreciated!

Why are you bothering with a marvel based raid chipset raid? Its not hardware raid so you might as well just use the motherbd's raid.

Thanks, I didn't know that it is a software raid. I need a hardware raid, are there any for a good price?
I've found one, but it is too expensive - LSI Logic megaRAID SAS 9260-8i

I buy used IBM M1015's for raid 0 or M5014's for raid 5. (9260 for raid6)
The IBM ServeRAID M1015 is a LSI SAS 2008 based card and can be flashed to several LSI firmware versions. It can be found just over $100 up to $120
the IBM ServeRAID M5014 is a LSI SAS 2108 based RAID cards with 256MB of onboard cache, very similar to the LSI 9260-8i and IBM M5015, just with half of the cache. These go for $150 to 180

but really, raid 0 or 1 requires no calculations and motherbd raid is fine.
Here is another raid 0/1 card many people modify to use and is LSI2008 based. $140 new! Just be aware the bracket is wrong for PC's
