I notice the R9 280s seem to be lowering in price lately. Would there be much of a difference between this and my 660 or should I hold out for something a bit better?

Not in my opinion, its due to be replaced soon.

I would wait for the GTX 960, should be available at a good price. ($250)

R9 280 is obviously better than the gtx 660 and you will notice a considerable boost but you should wait for the gtx 960 as its releasing this month.

Is there any info on the 960 yet? I couldn't find anything.

I would wait on the upgrade.

i believe nvidia will make it 192 bit with 3GB of VRAM. hey maybe even go for 4GB. 680/670 is 2GB card like 660. so it is also possible for nvidia to up their x60 card with 4GB of VRAM. anyway if you're going from 660 maybe at least get something with 970 class performance or better. 280 are cheap but they also based on old 7950.

Makes sense to me me also as they are using 4gb on 256bit currently, then 3gb on 192bit matches.
