I'm building a new PC after almost 6 years. The GTX970 card I ordered in out of stock, but I want to build everything else while I wait. Can I use my old PCI Express 2 card in this motherboard in the meantime? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
It doesn't specifically list a PCI Express 2 slot, but show the following:

PCI Express 3.0 x16
1 (x16)
1 (x8)
1 (x4)

PCI Express x1 3

PCI Slots 1

Thanks.

Yeah pci-e 3 is backward compatible, will work fine.

Just use it in the top x16 slot.
