Hello everyone. I'm new to PC gaming and I would like to ask what would be a decent headset to start of with. Initially I don't plan on getting into multiplayer games(planning on starting off with Skyrim as a first game), but once I save up money, I may get into games like Battlefield 4. I don't care much for being able to communicate with other players(least not now), so I would like a headset that will provide great sound quality. I don't have a budget right now, but what would you guys recommend that's relatively inexpensive?

Then your best bet would be to get a pair of cheap (yet good) pair of headphones and add a cheap mic to it.

For the mic:

or

You might want to mod them so that to get the mic closer to your mouth. Should be easy enough to do with some spare metal wire and tape.

The combo above will be better than any "gaming" headsets in the same price range.
