Long history short:

-I have a G.Skill Ares Series 8Gb (2 X 4Gb) 240-Pin Sdram Ddr3 1866 (Pc3 14900) Desktop Memory F3-1866C9D-8Gab

-And I have a Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM - Black (HX316C10FBK2/8)

I have a Z87-pro ASUS motherboard, I've read about dual channel and stuff like that which got me confused about whether these 2 will work together. I know it's not optimal and I might end up just choosing one of them, so my question is:

Will they work together just fine? And, if you had to choose one of them, which one would it be?

You have to test to find out.

The G.Skill specs are much better.

If you want to try, have each kit installed in the same color slots and see if they boot up.

Give 'em a try, thinking they go to default of 1333, maybe with the Fury's in there it may go 1600 at CL10, if any problems give us a shout
