I have looked all other the internet, for the maximum power consumption of the 280, i've found that it can go upto about 250w load, with my other parts that adds up to 433W
Would i be okay to use this card, and be able to use it under extreme load, if i didnt overclock it?
I understand im cutting it tight with a 500w psu but ive seen people do it and ive not heard of any problems with doing it, just people saying be "precautios" and get a 550w or 600w, which if i could i would, but i cant. So overall would I be able to use the msi r9 280(without OC) under extreme load without bricking/bsod/ have anything bad happen to my pc?

The absolute minimum I'd suggest for that card, assuming it IS going to be overclocked is 550W one 6-pin and one 8-pin connector.

That said, in your situation you'd be fine, most likely. But you'd definitely not want to overclock anything. Also, what brand is the psu?
