Hi all,

I'm unsure whether to get a 5tb HDD for £150

or

A 512gb SSD for £260

Which one would be more worth it?
And if you can find a better price, please leave it in the thread.

Thanks, here are the links if you were wondering where:

This is for my laptop by the way which currently has only 500gb HDD.

That 5 TB hdd is 3.5 it wont fit in a laptop, you need a 2.5 hdd

An SSD would probably be better / faster.

It really depends on what you need. If you want more storage try and find a 2.5 hard drive with lots of space. If you want a noticeable improvement on speed/boot times, and battery life, I'd recommend the SSD.

No it is a HDD with maybe 8gb of ssd storage and it loads your most used files onto the ssd this process in known as caching.
