Hi guys why does the Corsair Vengeance CML8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 state:

"Corsair high performance Vengeance Low Profile 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600MHz 9-9-9-24, 1.5V for motherboards using AMD, Intel dual channel processors and upcoming 2nd Generation Intel Core platforms"

Does it mean that it wont work well on a 4th gen i7 4790?

Yes it will work, these have been around for awhile now, and they simply haven't updated their advertising
