Hello everyone,

I'm trying to build a good gaming pc, but I'm not sure what I'm doing, and I'm missing a cpu cooler wasn't sure which one would fit with this build. Is this build consider end gaming PC? And will it lasts for more than 2-3 years? Let me know what u think.

Thanks,
Updated: my budget is 3000$ including monitor, keybored, headset, and mice.

This is a very strong build... I only added 1 thing and that's a CPU cooler... The only advice I can give is getting 2 SSD's one to hold just your OS and the 2nd for the programs. The use the HDD as the data backup.

Other than that you have a nice system starting there.

You don't need to 3000$ to Run games at Max settings but if you decided to spend that much of money I've a better build, and about the build 2500$ for GTX 970 and Z87 MB !!!!!!

See that build :

I don't get it when you've got the option for quad channel and the budget that you wouldn't use it.Do you have a reason for not doing that?

When it comes to it is the one from Amercerment better imo,he keeps the monitor the o.p wants.

If you would go by the monitor you chose could he even, with a budget of $3000,go for sli of the gtx 980,

The OP has a very strong build, I mean just 1 month ago this setup would have been top going, and OP just mentions $3K budget, but has the system built at $2.5K with everything he/she needs.

Only 1 thing had to be added and that was a CPU cooler if OP didn't want to go with stock. Yes I could have made this system go to $3k easy, but why when OP has really good products picked out.

The only suggestion I could give is adding an SSD to just run the OS and nothing else, but that is their choice, hence why it doesn't need to be added just because I run my system like that.

The one thing I liked out of everyone's ideas was AntonM95's pick for the GPU Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 295X2 8GB Core Edition Video Card ($906.50 @ Newegg) as I didn't know these were hitting that low... That is a beast of a card for the money. That is $600 off from just 20 days ago.
