Hello everyone!

Lately my computer has been failing on me. It sometimes restarts, and it is mostly under pressure, so I have to asssume it is something overheating.

I downloaded Open Hardware Monitor to check it further. My CPU was very hot, and after cleaning it, it helped. I thought I had fixed the problem here, but then it happend again. It restarted, this time most of my CPU wasn't going over 50 degrees.

Okay, so I figured... It might be my graphics card?

I am using a i7 920 CPU, which has the following temps after a game session:
System: 44 degrees celcius
CPU: 47 degrees celcius
Northbridge 61 degrees celcius

And the graphics card is a HD5970 Dual Core CPU with:

85.5 degrees celcius under a game session.

The fan of the graphics card will become very noisey and it does sound like it has a hard time keeping up.

The thing is, I am not a 100% sure if it's either of these two the problem lies with, or if its something completly different? I am going to run a 3DMark dx 11 test on my Graphicscard and then I will post the results here, untill then I would really appriciate any help! This needs to be solved, and I am standing in a situation where I were about to upgrade a few parts in it, and that might as well be the ones failing that I fix.

what kind of PSU are you using?

Okay so after the test, the graphics card had hit 92 degrees. Still didn't shut my computer down though.
Also my CPU hit 53 degrees.
