I'm building a new PC for a friend. The budget is $900 and the focus of it is to for gaming. I've decided to buy a used GPU, because it costs $100 less. I'd prefer to buy from Amazon if possible. Gotta love that free 2 day shipping!

Here's the PCPartPicker link: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/ggrrqq/saved/4pfxFT
Keep in mind that the price is higher on the page because the GPU is not used.
Currently, when all the items are in my card on Amazon, they add up to $860.

I do not have a CPU cooler on the list, but feel free to suggest one, as I'm inexperienced with building PCs.

Thanks.

Corsair makes some of the best cases. But that low end model suffers from the same malady that most low end cases do; lack of room behind the MB tray for cable management. You'll be scratching your head trying to figure out how to hide the excess wiring. The slight bulge in the side panel will help a little. Nice looking case, though.

Yes, you'll want an aftermarket cooler for sure with that FX-8350. Even if you don't OC. The stock cooler gets pretty loud when the CPU get warm. If you want the best air cooler for the least amount of money, it would be the Cooler Master 212 EVO. If you want to spend more, that is up to you. The Corsair C60 cooler is a good little inexpensive 120mm liquid cooler if you want to go that route. I have that on my FX-8350. About the same cooling performance and noise as the 212 EVO. Minimal.

Other than that, it looks like it will be a nice gamer at 1080p resolutions.

Could you possibly suggest another case? The 212 Evo doesn't fit in that case, according to PCPartPicker. Preferably the case should be under $60...

Or I could stick with that case and get the Cooler Master Hyper TX3... it says that it will fit.

Cases are kind of a personal decision, but I'll try.
This one is kind of plain, but has room for cable management. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139018
This is my personal favorite (I have one). Great builder's case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233

Don't forget, you can always go with the C60 cooler I suggested. No need to worry about height that way: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181030
The TX-3 isn't a air bad cooler, but it will be marginal on the FX-8350 if you want to OC the processor. I have one of those too that I keep around for test builds.

How about the SPEC-02? The dimensions are slightly larger, so cable management might be a little easier...

Since I can't afford the C60, I went with the 212 evo.
