Well, would you look at that not like I didn't call this one. Newegg putting me through a damn nightmare with an RMA problem they caused. Turns out their RMA department screwed me royally and admittedly so, after a ton of stress I was approved for the return and forced into store credit. Problem is they are taking so damn long to issue the refund that I had no choice but to actually purchase the product replacement myself BEFORE the refund appeared. ( had to purchase asap after so long for business reasons )
Now I have a $399 store credit due sometime soon, who knows, I cant trust a word from them to do simple things. Anyway, I am not even sure what to do with my store credit now, what would you guys do with $399 if you had my rig
i5 4760k
1tb HDD and 256ssd with win7
GTX970 TF MSI
Z86 motherboard
8gb gskill ram
Corsair 600w psu
Corsaid H60 LC
I game via my viera plasma 50 inch tv, i love it so i dont need a monitor. I also love my cyborg rat mouse, and I am an audiophile who has numberous dacs and hifi headphones. Im not sure what to do with the spare $399. I cant get a refund via the gift card used to purchase that product that was RMA,ed it no longer exists. So i had to get store credit. Stress...
I purchased a GTX780 not one day before the release of the GTX970, which I had no idea was even coming out and available THAT fast after announcment. I paid $390 for an open box GTX780, the next morning the GTX 970 was available for $330-350, and the same 780 card I purchased dropped to $300 NEW. NEW! I paid almost one hundred more than that for a damn open box a day earlier. Sent the card back because it was doa, naturally, only to have the RMA department declare mistakenly that the serial numbers didn't match. They did, they just made a mistake that they admitted to. RMA taking FOREVERRRRRRRRRRR to process, watched batch one of the msi 970 sell out, watched batch 2 sell out, and then batch 3. Batch 4 came in today and I had no choice but to pay out of pocket to get one. Effin' sad. Never using newegg again, been a valued customer for years and have been mistreated too often with bad customer support and high volume DOA products.

yup its not the egg of old -- lots changed there with them and over the past year or so I fely I got a suspect item from them I think that guy who started it quite died or retired from it and things changed
I did figure when they went to be like amazon selling all things under the sun and not just computer stuff this was going to happen with them
as they say all good things do come to a end
