I am planning a new gaming PC that I expect to purchase this week. I have not built a PC in a long time so I'm hoping to receive advice/recommendations on this and make sure i'm covered. I already have a 27" 1080 monitor and am not replacing my keyboard and mouse yet.

I do video editing/digital compositing as well. How well will this work?

Thanks.

Made it cheaper. 2x8gb instead since it's about the same price. Mobo's sound should be good enough without the sound card.

Thanks for these. I will take a look. And yes SLI is on my list for later. I have a budget but I'm trying to build and leave room to expand easily.
