Help! gtx 570 running hot!

Hey guys!

I built my computer around 4 years ago and it has worked well for up until now. Im running two gtx 570s in my system and the primary card is getting to 97 degrees celsius while playing wow. The FPS is fine just the temperature. Ive tried shooting condensed air into my system but didnt seem to help. If my GPU gets 100 degrees celsius my system just turns off. No blue screen just goes black. Help!@

I would recommend cleaning out the thermal paste is it may have dried up, also if you know how maybe take a look at if the thermal pads need replacing as well. As you said this is a 4 year old I would just do a whole system check up and make sure everything is replaced that could cause heating problems. Just check if there is anything stopping your intake and exhaust fans?

would it help if i made my 2nd gpu the primary as maybe its the primary gpu i have on now is causing the problem
