So I have a run down Alienware M14x and am thinking about investing in a new desktop strictly for gaming. I primarily play one game and don't really see myself needing the computer for much more than Diablo 3. I would like to know what your guy's opinions are for what I can get by with on a lower budget, but still being able to run the game at its highest graphics settings smoothly.

I have been doing some research and I don't know much about computers but I like the Vanquish II from Digital Storm here: https://www.digitalstormonline.com/configurator.asp?id=...

It is the cheapest computer they build and it seems, from what I read, that it would be able to run what I need very smoothly. Is this the smartest move? Or do you guys think that I should proceed with building my own around the same budget (remember I am computer illiterate :pt1cable: ).

Thanks

I always recommend building your own PC, but maybe that's just because I think it is fun picking out the parts and putting it together.

That PC you linked will definitely run Diablo 3, and more. Always think about the future when you buy a PC. Ask questions like, "will I be able to add more RAM, upgrade the CPU, upgrade the GPU, upgrade the PSU, have access to USB 3.0, SATA 3.0, etc...

Always build your own PC, it's better that way then you'll know all your parts and how your pc functions.

Here is a build cheaper then the one you recommend, It even has the keyboard mouse and monitor if you need it. It is also highly upgradable for the future if you decide to become a serious gamer!
