Depending on what exactly you want to do, this is either very complex, or pretty simple.

If you have individual PC's around the house, and just want to shares files that live on the 'main terminal', simply share the relevant folders (with the proper permissions).
Connect from the other PC's, map as a drive letter, done.

If what you want to do is have 'thin clients', and use the processing power and storage space of the 'main terminal'....that is MUCH more complex, and almost certainly more expensive.

what i want to do is not for file share or anything as i have got a synology disk station for that, i want it so that i can literally have 2 different os installed on one pc and for 2 people to use 2 different sets of keyboard mouse and montiors at the same time so i.e someone could do some work on ms office upstairs while someone downstairs is on facebook or searching the internet or listening to music but only using one pc thats how i want to do it lol

So what you seem to want is a central server, and thin clients.

Very complex, and disturbingly expensive.

Yes you can do it, but running thin clients off a central server is NOT cheap.
You need the relevant thin clients. Start at $400 each.
Then you need a beefy ($$$$) server box.
Then you need the relevant application licenses.

You can do it via RDC or TeamViewer, but then you need an actual PC at the remote locations. In which case, why try to run the applications from the main box?

Can it be done? Yes.
Unless you are doing it for 50+ desks, it is not cost effective.
