Can't get a signal after a few minutes from pc to TV (as a monitor)

The problem I am having is that when I hook up my PC to this SANYO TV with a VGA cord it works fine, but after a few minutes of working the screen will randomly say "No Signal" I never changed the input or touched the cords or anything, any ideas? The TV doesn't have a DVI port and my computer's video card doesnt have an HDMI port, but the TV does. I have to use a VGA

Sounds like the VGA input on the tv or the output on the card, is overheating or shorting the circuit. Or you might have a bad VGA cable. You might try using an adapter like this:

If you can possibly try using another tv to eliminate that as a possible problem it would narrow things down.
